Debt Management Program

Alpha Surety & Insurance Brokerage specializes in providing innovative money-saving solutions for the surety and insurance needs of industries. We have worked with several industries over the years to help their members develop comprehensive surety bond programs that allow them to obtain the state license surety bonds they need for their current business and then help grow their surety capacity to meet nationwide surety requirements. We have several national surety markets that have enjoyed success in working with our clients to expand their surety capacity at a fair rate as their surety needs grow.

In 2005, Alpha Surety began working with the now defunct American Association of Debt Management Organizations (AADMO) to offer surety bond solutions to its members at reasonable rates. 2005 and the following several years were a period of increased regulation for Debt Management/Debt Settlement/Credit Service Organizations and with the aid of Alpha Surety many in this industry were able to meet the increasing demand for bonds that was a part of the increased regulation. Currently about 40 states require surety bonds as part of a license requirement to operate as a debt management, debt settlement or credit counseling company in that state. Writing these bonds for over 100 debt management services business, Alpha Surety continues to be a leader in providing surety bonding for this industry working closely with the Unites States Organization of Bankruptcy Alternatives (USOBA) and the Association of Credit Counseling Professionals (ACCPros).

In addition to being a surety solution for the debt management industry, Alpha Surety was also able to find unique fidelity insurance solutions for companies who were required to obtain onerous fidelity policies for licensing in some states due to their enactment of provisions of the 2005 Uniform Debt Management Services Act. Alpha Surety was able to find markets that would write fidelity policies with zero deductibles required by some states or extremely high limits with extremely low deductibles other states required again at reasonable rates.
